Folate Deficiency Anemia
Folate deficiency anemia is a megaloblastic anemia caused by folate deficiency and is not associated with neurological manifestations. The most common causes include inadequate dietary intake, medications, and toxins; rarely, folate deficiency may be congenital. The diagnosis is confirmed by decreased serum folate levels.
